Frequently Asked Questions
- When is the best time to visit Asia? The world’s largest and most populous continent, Asia is truly huge and its climate varies significantly depending on which country you visit. If you’re heading to Southeast Asia, the best time to visit overall is during the dry and cool season (November-April) when the weather is less humid.
The countries of Central Asia (including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) are extremely hot in summer and freezing cold in winter. To avoid the extreme weather, it’s best to visit this region from around late April-May or late August-September.
If you’re travelling to Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, or the mountainous north of India, October-December is ideal when the skies are generally clear and you can make the most of the stunning mountain scenery. In China, the climate is highly varied but spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are great times to visit when temperatures are most likely to be warm and pleasant.
