Starting in the heart of the nation, Namibia’s capital city of Windhoek, your guides take you past colonial castles hearkening back to a time when German influence decided the fate of the country.
Outside the nation’s capital lie the vast wildernesses of Namib-Naukluft and Etosha National Parks. In safari vehicles, you’ll travel to the colossal sand dunes that compete with mountains for your attention. Within these preserves live iconic African elephants, giraffes, and lions. After visiting the sand dunes of Sosslusvlei and the ancient valleys of Damaraland, a more urban escape beckons for some relaxation.
Swakopmund is old Bavaria transplanted among the desert sands of coastal Namibia. This chill haven for artists is a cultural feast for exhausted adventurers.

01. Do you need a visa to travel to Namibia?
Not if you are one of Namibia’s visa-exempt nations, like Canada and the USA. In that case, you may enter Namibia for a stay of three months in one calendar year as long as you hold an ordinary passport. However, a small list of some nations must purchase a visa on arrival.
02. Is Namibia safe?
Yes. While there is some risk near the border of Angola, Namibia is generally safe. Exercise caution with your financial information and be alert to your surroundings for petty crime.
03. When is the best time to visit Namibia
Namibia is a year-round destination, however the dry season is often the most desirable time to visit, during the months of June to October. This is also peak tourist season, however.
